Crowell & Moring | Training Contract - January 2023

London, United Kingdom
Full Time
Entry Level

Our Training Contract

Our London office is recruiting two trainee solicitors. Our training contract is non-rotational, so from the start you’ll be receiving work from a variety of our partners and senior lawyers across a range of practice areas, including litigation, arbitration, corporate, finance, insurance, international trade, restructuring and insolvency, energy and infrastructure and corporate. In addition, and for the right individual, there could be a secondment to our Brussels or Doha office and/or a secondment to a client available.

Your Application

We are keen to hear from you if you would like to train at a diverse, inclusive and collaborative law firm where you plan to build a long-term career. We work hard, and we all genuinely enjoy what we do, which is in no small part due to the encouraging and supportive Crowell & Moring culture.

Academic excellence is important to us; however, we appreciate that some people face particular challenges during their studies. Whilst we expect applicants to have achieved AAB at A-Level (or equivalent), a 2.1 (Hons) at a well-respected university and to have completed both the GDL (if applicable) and LPC with a merit, if there are good reasons why you haven’t achieved these grades then we are happy to take those into account.

In addition to your qualifications, we also value those who have achieved in an extra-curricular context and who are well-rounded and interesting. Personality is a definite plus at our firm! Our clients are a diverse group, and truly appreciate the strong relationships that we build with them, so the ability to use a breadth of your own experiences to relate to people you encounter at work is a fundamental skill for success at our firm.

Finally, you must have already completed the LPC and be able to join us in January 2023. Our recruitment process consists of an application, a video interview, an assessment centre and a final interview. We expect to complete this process by mid-October 2022.

Applications close at midnight on Sunday 11th September 2023.
